Trip Itinerary

On day 1 of the Gosainkunda Trek, you will drive from Kathmandu to Sybrubensi, which is the starting point of the trek. The drive takes around 7-8 hours and covers a distance of approximately 117 kilometers. You will start your journey early in the morning, and head northwards from Kathmandu, passing through the towns of Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the mountains and valleys of the Langtang region. As you approach Sybrubensi, the road becomes more rugged and challenging, but the scenery becomes even more spectacular. You will drive through narrow gorges and alongside raging rivers, and you will pass through several small villages along the way. Upon arrival in Sybrubensi, you will check into your lodge and have some time to relax and explore the local area. Sybrubensi is a small, charming village situated on the banks of the Bhote Koshi River, and it is the gateway to the Langtang region.

Lama Hotel is a small village with a few guesthouses and shops, and it is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by forests and mountains. In the evening, you will have dinner with your trekking group and spend the night in your lodge, in preparation for the next day's trek to Langtang village.

You will pass through several small settlements and tea shops, and have the chance to observe the local culture and way of life of the Tamang people who live in the region. Upon arrival in Langtang Village, you will check into your lodge and have some time to rest and explore the local area. Langtang Village is a picturesque village with traditional stone houses and prayer flags, and it is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by snow-capped mountain. If you choose to hike to Tserko Ri, you will wake up early in the morning and begin your ascent to the summit. Tserko Ri is a peak located at an altitude of 4,985 meters, offering stunning panoramic views of the Langtang Himal range and the surrounding valleys. The trail is steep and challenging, with some rocky sections and loose scree, but the views from the top are truly breathtaking. After approximately 4-5 hours of hiking, you will reach the summit of Tserko Ri, where you can take in the spectacular views and capture some memorable photos. You will then descend back to Kyanjin Gompa for lunch and rest. Kyanjin Gompa is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by snow-capped peaks and glaciers, and there are plenty of opportunities to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Overnight stay in Kyanjin Gompa. In the evening, you will have dinner with your trekking group and spend the night in your lodge, in preparation for the next day's trek back to Lama Hotel.

You will traceback the trail to Lama Hotel following the Langtang Khola, continuing your trek you will come across Ghodatabela before reaching Lama Hotel. Thulo Syabru is a beautiful village located at an altitude of 2,260 meters, with stunning views of the Langtang Himal range. After approximately 5-6 hours of trekking, you will reach Thulo Syabru, where you will check into your lodge and have some time to rest and explore the local area.
