Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural and historical landmarks of Kathmandu. After breakfast, your guide will take you on a sightseeing tour, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa. You'll also have the opportunity to prepare for your upcoming trek, ensuring you have all the necessary equipment and permits. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner and relax at your hotel.

Begin your day with a short drive to Wangduephodrang, where you can explore the ruins of Wangdue Dzong and learn about its historical importance. Continue your journey back to Paro, a drive that takes approximately 5 hours. Along the way, enjoy the scenic landscapes and make stops at various points of interest. Once in Paro, visit the National Museum housed in Ta Dzong, which offers a rich collection of Bhutanese art and artifacts. Explore Paro Rinpung Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery with stunning views of the valley.
