Trip Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our Adventure Metro Everest team will be ready to greet you. You'll be transferred to your hotel, and after a short break, you can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, known as Trekkers' Paradise. The first night of your adventure will be spent at your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day two begins with a hotel breakfast and check-out. We'll then transfer you to the national airport for a scenic flight to Lukla. Upon arrival, you'll meet our porter team, and the trek to Phakding will commence. Descending towards the Dudh Khosi River, you'll follow its banks and cross a suspension bridge to reach Phakding. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or tea house await.

Today you’ll trek to Namche Bazaar. After breakfast, you'll traverse pine forests, passing through Zam Phute and Tok Tok villages. The trail leads to Benkar and Monjo, where permits are checked. Entering Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park, you continue to Jorsalle and ascend until reaching Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa village in the Everest region. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or tea house.

This day is dedicated to acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, crucial for your well-being at higher altitudes. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge or tea house before embarking on a day of exploration. Immerse yourself in local culture, visit the Sherpa museum, and savor panoramic views of Everest and its surrounding peaks from the Everest View hotel, a short hike away from Namche Bazaar. The day concludes with a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, allowing your body to acclimate to the altitude.

Set forth on a trek to Dhole, reaching elevations of (4,200m/13,779ft). Depart from Namche Bazaar after breakfast, traversing the captivating terrain that unfolds before you. The trail weaves through high-altitude landscapes, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you arrive in Dhole, savour the accomplishment of reaching this elevated destination. Conclude the day with a well-deserved dinner and an overnight stay in a lodge or tea house.

Today’s trek leads to Machhermo, situated at (4,470m/14,665ft). Begin your journey after a hearty breakfast in Dhole, navigating the challenging yet awe-inspiring landscapes. Ascend to Machhermo, marveling at the raw beauty of the Himalayan terrain. As the day concludes, enjoy dinner and a night's rest in a lodge or tea house.

The seventh day unfolds with a trek to Gokyo, perched at (4,790m/15,715ft). Set out from Machhermo after a wholesome breakfast, embracing the challenges and rewards of the trail. Making our way to  Ascend to Gokyo, surrounded by majestic peaks and pristine landscapes. As the day concludes, revel in your accomplishment with a satisfying dinner and a serene overnight stay in a lodge or tea house.

As the sun begins its ascent over the Himalayas, set out on a thrilling hike up to Gokyo Ri. This vantage point, situated at an impressive altitude of (5,360m/17,585ft), unveils a panoramic spectacle of the surrounding peaks bathed in the warm hues of the morning sun.

Traverse the enchanting landscape, passing the serene Gokyo Lakes and crossing the mesmerizing Ngozumba Glacier. After breakfast, enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks as you make your way to Thangnak, a peaceful settlement surrounded by stunning mountain vistas. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or tea house follow.

Embark on an exhilarating journey as you trek to Dzongla, traversing the challenging Cho La Pass standing at an impressive altitude of (5,368m/17,611ft). After breakfast, Experience the steep ascent and glacier traverse, marveling at the breathtaking views of Kyajo Ri, Tengkangpoche, Numbur, and other prominent peaks. Day thirteen kicks off with a sunrise view from Kala Patthar, perched at (5,545m/18,192ft). Revel in the breathtaking panorama before descending to Pheriche at (4,250m/13,944ft). The day concludes with a fulfilling dinner and a serene overnight stay in a lodge or tea house.

Today we trek to Tengboche, situated at (3,867m/12,687ft). Traverse through enchanting landscapes, soaking in the cultural richness of the region. As the day concludes, savor a delicious dinner and enjoy a night's rest in a lodge or tea house.

Nestled at (2,835m/9,301ft). Descend through the varied terrain, capturing the essence of the lower altitudes. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in a lodge or tea house.

After breakfast, you'll make your way back to Monjo and Phakding, ascend up to Lukla, and check in to the lodge or tea house. An optional celebration with the team is available before dinner and an overnight stay.

Day seven teen includes a flight back to Kathmandu and a transfer to your hotel. After breakfast and check-out, you'll fly back to Kathmandu. Our team will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel. A trip review and evening celebration dinner follow, with an overnight stay at your hotel, marking the end of the trip.
