At Tribhuwan International Airport, one of our agents will receive you. He will arrange a private ride to the hotel and assist you with check-in as well. After a long journey, you might want to unwind at your hotel or go exploring some of Kathmandu's beautiful attractions. During the briefing of the Gosaikunda Trek Itinerary, you will meet your guide and obtain any missing equipment.
Your Gosaikunda Lake Trek will begin this morning following a delicious breakfast. You can get to the Machha Pokhari Bus station with the help of your guide. From there, a bus will take you from Kathmandu to Dhunche. You will be able to take in the gorgeous villages and pastures along the route. Reaching Dhunche will take you around 5 to 6 hours over a lovely picturesque road that crosses woods, terraced farms, streams, and the enormous Trishuli River. Rasuwa District's administrative center is located in the small village of Dhunche.
You will take a tour through the village and interact with residents after arriving at Dhunche. You will spend the night in a well-kept tea house after enjoying a fantastic evening with the locals.
After eating breakfast in Dhunche, you will start your trek to Gosaikunda Lake. You will reach Ghatte Khola after around an hour of walking. You may get to Deurali, a small town with a few tea houses on the route to Chandanbari, by following the Trishuli River side by side with Ghatte Khola. You may reach Dhimsa after 3 hours of trekking by following a lovely track that passes by streamlets and cascades. As the route ascends through lovely pine trees, the climb from Dhimsa is a little challenging.
The village of Chandanbari, which is tucked away in the middle of a pine forest, is only accessible by way of arduous uphill hikes. This location is also known as Sing Gompa. Chandanbari has a number of tourist attractions, including a monastery and a business that makes yak cheese.
The Gosainkunda Trek Route will be considerably more challenging today than it was yesterday. You will begin your trekking, which gently rises higher from the beginning, after eating breakfast at Chandanbari. To get to Gosaikunda, you must hike through a rocky, narrow path. You will gradually have to trek across desolate hills and experience chilly breezes as you ascend. You will reach Cholangpati after a nearly 1.5-hour hike. You will enjoy stunning views of the Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal from Cholangpati.
You must trek for another 2.5 hours to reach Lauribina. Then, after spending about two hours climbing up, you will arrive at Buddha Temple. The first lake you will see is Saraswati Kunda, followed by Bhairav Kunda and the Mighty Lake Gosaikunda, after an hour of hiking from Buddha Temple. You will spend the night at a tea house and tour other surrounding lakes throughout the day.
You will spend some time in the morning touring Gosaikunda Lake surrounding, after a delectable breakfast. Then you will reverse your route back to Dhunche, passing via the lovely settlements of Lauribina, Cholangpati, Dhimsa, and Deurali. The Gosaikunda Lake Trekking Itinerary will conclude on this day. Therefore, it's best to relish every moment of the journey. You will be climbing downhills while taking in the appealing vistas of the mountains, pine forest, and the tasty Chandandari cheese.
Since you will be descending, hiking will be a bit easier and more enjoyable. Along the walk, you will see a variety of protected species, including Wood Snipe, Snow Partridge, and Tibetan Snow Cock. If you are fortunate, you could see a Red Panda, which is in extinction. You will arrive at Dhunche after around seven hours of downhill trekking.
The Langtang Gosaikunda Lake Trek concludes today. You will enjoy breakfast after a lovely night's sleep in one of Dhunche's tea houses. After breakfast, you will board a bus to Kathmandu and drive over a beautiful road while admiring the magnificence of the Trishuli River, meadows, and charming towns. You will arrive in Kathmandu after a roughly six to seven-hour ride. You will have a lot to treasure from this journey experience. You will always remember the majestic Gosaikunda Lake, its beautiful paths, the culturally rich Tamang people, the Tibetan-influenced way of life, and the mouthwatering Yak's cheese.
