Your Bhutan tour begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal's vibrant capital city. Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you can relax and acclimate to the altitude of 1,320 meters. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore the bustling streets of Kathmandu or simply unwind at your hotel, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural and historical landmarks of Kathmandu. After breakfast, your guide will take you on a sightseeing tour, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa. You'll also have the opportunity to prepare for your upcoming trek, ensuring you have all the necessary equipment and permits. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner and relax at your hotel.

Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and driven to Thimphu, Bhutan's bustling capital city. The scenic 1.5-hour drive through lush valleys and rolling hills sets the tone for your adventure. On the way, a visit to Tachogang Lhakhang, a picturesque temple perched by the river, offers a tranquil start. In Thimphu, you'll visit the Memorial Chorten, a revered stupa built in memory of the third King, followed by a stop at the imposing Buddha Dordenma, which offers sweeping views of the city. The day concludes with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the government and the monastic body. En route, visit the 108 chortens (stupas) at Dochula. Start your day with a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility, which is dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley, the Divine Madman. The temple is a pilgrimage site for couples seeking blessings for fertility. Afterward, drive back to Paro, retracing your steps through the scenic Dochula Pass. Upon arrival in Paro, visit the National Museum housed in Ta Dzong, offering fascinating exhibits on Bhutanese art, history, and culture. Then explore Paro Rinpung Dzong, a stunning fortress-monastery with a commanding view of the valley. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through Paro town, enjoying its quaint charm and perhaps dining at a local restaurant.

The final day of your tour features a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, or Tiger’s Nest. This spiritual journey takes about 2-3 hours each way, leading you through pine forests and offering breathtaking views. Depending on your flight schedule,  you'll transfer to Paro International Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind.
