Island Peak
Imja tse peak is more popularly known by the name of Island peak. Eric Shipton's party named Island in 1953 as the peak resembles an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. Later in 1983, the peak was renamed as Imja tse.
Island was first climbed in 1953 by a British expedition team as training for ascending Mt. Everest. The peak is a part of the south ridge of Lhotse Shar and the main land forms a semicircle of cliffs that rise to the north of the summits of Nuptse, Lhotse, and Lhotse Shar.

Day 1: Kathmandu (1310m/4298ft)
Our airport representative will be received you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. It is 7km and takes about 10 minutes. Overnight at hotel, B.B plan
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing
After breakfast beautiful "Kathmandu Valley" sight seeing. This day we visit Shwoyambhunath Stupa, Baudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel, B.B plan
Day 3: Kathmandu(1350) - Lukla (2834m) - Phakding (2611m)
Fly to lukla (30mins) & trek to Phakding , overnight at guesthouse.
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m).
Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 5: Trek to Khumjung (3,790 m)
Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 6: Trek to Tyangboche (3,867 m).
Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4,343 m), overnight at guesthouse.
Day 8: Trek to Chhukung (4,730 m), overnight at guesthouse.
Day 9: Trek to Imja Tse (Island) Peak base camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 10 Ascent to Imja Tse (Island) Peak High camp (5,600 m), overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Imja Tse (Island) Peak Summit (6,160 m) back to base camp, overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Extra day to summit Imja Tse (Island) Peak peak just incase of bad weather, overnight at tented camp.
Day 13: Trek to Pangboche (3,901 m), overnight at guesthouse.
Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m), overnight at guesthouse.
Day 15: Trek to Phakding, overnight at guesthouse.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla, overnight at guesthouse.
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Kathmandu
Rest day at Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel. B.B Plan.
Day 19: Kathmandu
Rest day at Kathmandu. Surprise dinner party. Overnight at hotel. B.B Plan.
Day 20: Departure to Airport
Departure to airport for the onward destination.
